POSITION DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Receptionist 

Receptionist start with greeting of all guests, answering phone calls, assisting guests with questions regarding spa services and products, booking appointments, checking the guest into the computer system and charging for services performed. Upholding all spa policies and protocols. 


Guest experience is also a key role: orientating guests to the spa facilities, greeting guests as they enter the spa, and providing personalized guest service throughout their visit. This position will also include capturing spa party guest experience for social media.


Responsibilities: 

• Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the spa 

• Ensure lobby is neat and presents well at all times

• Direct guest to the appropriate service provider 

• Answer phones, checking spa emails and voicemails

• Scheduling appointments 

• Accept payments

• Ensure coupons, package payments and promotions are handled correctly

• Offer beverages (if available)

• Next day follow up with clients 

• Field questions about services and products

• Suggest services and products to up-sell clients

• Maintain client records including consents and assist in after-care information with locating product recommendations

• Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)

Spa Attendant

Spa Attendants secure the guest experience by helping to maintain our guest spaces, staff linen needs and miscellaneous housekeeping necessities


Responsibilities:

• Ensures clean, fresh laundry is available all day, every day, mastering the various needs of this department to ensure that treatments can be performed

• Work within the spa, aiding in collecting laundry from treatment room areas without distracting guests or team members

• Keeps responsible areas spotless

• Uses time effectively throughout the shift by checking equipment, stocking and cleaning rooms, stocking and cleaning retail shelves, counting inventory etc

• Assist with reception duties & Can cover front desk schedule when trained and necessary

• Sterilize equipment before use
